ECLIPSE WRESTLING CLUB
“MEDALS AT FARGO EVERY YEAR”
The 2008 Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers from Eclipse at Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota
We provide freestyle and Greco Roman training towards earning medals at Fargo. For more than fifteen years at least one Eclipse trained wrestler has placed at either the Cadet or Junior National Championships in either freestyle or Greco Roman. In fact, our athletes have brought back well over 50 “Stop Signs”, including over 20 Silver Medals and 15 National Championships on the Cadet, Junior, Espoir (Fila Jr.), University and Veterans level. In addition, over the last two seasons our youth wrestlers earned 13 medals, including 3 Silver Medals and 5 National Championships at the Youth National Championships. We want wrestlers who have goals of competing for Team New Jersey and plan on returning with medals. Our coaching staff has coached for Team New Jersey at over 50 National Championships in the last 17 years.
The first practice will be on Wednesday March 10. We will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays through Training Camp (beginning of July). Warm up starts at 6:30 PM and practice is over by 8:30PM. Club fee is $150.
We train at the Standridge Academy of Wrestling located at 67 Bassett Hwy, Dover NJ (under the old Dover Lanes Bowling Alley). Please park in the lot behind the building and down the ramp. The entrance is at the side of the building.
